How to Get to the Venue

Before I Do 10th edition will be happening in a week at

CCF Eastwood, Third Floor Citywalk 2, Eastwood City

For those not familiar with the venue we have provided a map so you know where to park and what to look for, make sure to allot extra time looking for parking and walking to the venue (which is not very far), to the participants we will be sending you an email of this as well, along with some reminders.

It’s not yet too late to register, and there’s still free prenups to be given away, make sure you follow the instructions here

Busy, Stressed, Lots to think about!

Busy planning for your wedding? Don’t forget to plan for the more important stuff, what important stuff? For the marriage of course! Take a day to bond with your better half in this fun workshop with other couples while you learn the ropes of married life!

Join the “Before I Do” Workshop now on it’s 10th Run!

Date: April 14, 2012 (Saturday)
Time: 9am-6pm (Registration starts at 8am)
Venue: CCF Eastwood (Formerly Eastwood Citywalk’s Upper Hall)
Workshop Fee: 1,500 per couple (includes handouts, food and certificate)

So what’s to expect?
Like every year, we will have speakers Edric and Joy Mendoza, John and Monique and others to talk about different aspects of married life, topics that give you the right perspective to marriage, defining your roles in the marriage, how to resolve conflicts among many topics, sessions will be interactive so that means there will be a lot of hands on exercises for you and your hubby-to-be.

Also like every year, we will be giving away prenups by an Imagine Nation photographer totally free for the first 50 who register! Of course you have to attend the whole workshop to claim it because other than the valuable information you’ll be picking up we will be giving prizes all throughout the workshop as well!

Before I Do Workshop Schedule 2012

Wow! A lot of people are already asking for the 2012 schedule, and while we are still finalizing on the new venue, we would like you to peg the following dates already if you’re interested to join. Remember to pick the date that is closer but BEFORE your wedding day!

April 14

and

November 10

These dates are both saturdays and the workshop is from 8am to 6pm

Also, we are targeting more than 50-100 couples, and were praying that it will be come a reality that this program will be able to bless a lot more, so tell your friends who are getting married!

And lastly, while we offer this to soon-to-be married couples, we encourage those who are already married but have missed the past few times we held the workshop to join, who knows what you might learn that will make married life more exciting, sorry, no freenup for the married ones though

It has been a couple of months since the latest “Before I Do” Workshop, and now we are working on the details for the 9th edition coming up on November 5 in Renaissance 2000. So while things are still under works why not enjoy some of the photos taken during the recent one done last April…

Before I Do 8th Edition Recap

Before I Do held it’s 8th edition last April 9, 2011 at Renaissance 2000 in Pasig city,
The event was a success with more than 20 participants attending and various partner suppliers helping out during the day!

Lots of prizes were given away but that was icing on the cake compared to what they learned from the speakers
Here are some highlights during the day…

I believe that the Before I Do workshop we attended was part of God’s plan for us. We just got to know of it the night before the workshop day when we received an email from Mr. John Ong. We were hesitant at first but since Bong and I were free, we went there with expectant hearts. Oh how we missed our community the moment we stepped in the room. The cordial & happy atmosphere and the very accommodating people made us feel more comfortable. We were very blessed by every talk, every personal sharing of the group and of the speakers. It helped me and Bong realize the value of each other and how the Lord designed us for one another. It was a great blessing that it gave us the opportunity to share more of our thoughts, our expectations for one another and more importantly to recommit and surrender our relationship to Jesus. We can say, that after the workshop, we became more appreciative, loving & patient. Forgiving always and bearing with each other’s weaknesses. As our wedding draws near, we look back and praise God for allowing us to experience His love through the seminar and all the people who worked and prayed during that day. We will carry on the values that we learned in our married life. Praise God!:)

The Before I do Seminar was an eye opener. I came to understand my partner even more but above all, I was able to realize that there is a greater force affecting our relationship and that is God. I have learned that when you put him in the center of your relationship, all else will follow. Indeed, the wedding was the beginning of the marriage; and the marriage is something the couple must constantly work on. There are a lot of factors that affect the marriage but in the end your love for each other must always emerge and the faith in the Lord must always remain. An added bonus in attending this seminar was that aside from all the things we’ve learned, we got to meet new friends.. I do hope there are more seminars like this one.. There were no dull moments and I was even surprised that my usually impatient h2b had a great time in the seminar.. Kudos to the organizers of the seminar =)

We took the Before I Do seminar just a few weeks before our wedding and we’re so glad we did! The speakers were great and their sharings were very “relate-able”. We really enjoyed and learned a lot from the seminar, especially the ones about the importance of prayer in marriage and trusting God completely. During our wedding preparations, we were so worried about our finances and we were discussing whether to push through or postpone with our wedding, but when the speaker talked about offering everything to God and told us to acknowledge that everything is God’s and not ours, we just lifted everything up to the Lord and everything just followed. We also make it a point to pray everyday as a couple and we offer everything for God’s glory. There are times that we have misunderstandings, but looking back at the things we learned at the seminar helps us understand each other and be more patient and loving to each other. We’re really so happy that we attended the seminar and we definitely recommend other couples to invest in their marriage and not just their wedding
